5) Fats are not always bad
Most people tend to avoid fats at all cost due to the stigma that associates fats with gaining weight and being unhealthy. Not all fats are bad for the body; some fats help the body to function and provide necessary cushioning. There are two types of fats, saturated and unsaturated. Grass-fed beef in particular is higher in unsaturated fats. Saturated fats may cause weight gain since the body takes longer to break it down. On the other hand, unsaturated fats are easy to break down and are good for the body, especially the heart. Lean steak minimizes the amount of saturated fats while still providing the unsaturated fats that the body needs. Eat some steak today for a delicious meal and a way to reduce the risk of heart disease.
